Spurssss Tottenham and Man City each qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League in style

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City each qualified for the last 16 in style, while Dortmund were held to a shock draw by APOEL on a cracking Wednesday night in the Champions League.

Borussia Dortmund 1-1 APOEL Nicosia

APOEL held Dortmund to a shock 1-1 draw in Group H.

Raphaël Guerreiro scored first for Dortmund in the 29th minute, but Mickael Poté equalised shortly after half-time to rescue a point as Dortmund failed to capitalise on Real Madrid’s defeat to Tottenham.

Liverpool 3-0 Maribor

Liverpool claimed a comfortable 3-0 win over Maribor in Group E.

The teams went into half-time deadlocked at 0-0. However, within four minutes after the break, Mohamed Salah opened the scoring.

Emre Can and Daniel Sturridge then added to the Reds’ tally to seal the rout.

Napoli 2-4 Manchester City

Manchester City clinched victory in a high-scoring game against Napoli to book their last 16 spot.

Lorenzo Insigne fired Napoli into the lead, but Nicolás Otamendi equalised to send the teams into half-time all square.

John Stones put City ahead shortly after half-time. However, Jorginho equalised from the penalty spot.

Once again, City showed their resilience as goals from Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling sealed the win.

Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Real Madrid

Tottenham Hotspur beat Real Madrid 3-1 in a dramatic Wembley clash to qualify for the next round.

Dele Alli opened the scoring for Tottenham in the 27th minute after getting on the end of a Kieran Trippier cross.

Alli netted his second in the 56th minute after his shot took a wicked deflection off Sergio Ramos. A goal from Christian Eriksen then all but sealed the game shortly afterwards.

A late goal from Cristiano Ronaldo proved to be nothing more than consolation as Tottenham clinched a memorable win.
