Former Kotoko attacking midfielder Charles Taylor has taken a strong swipe at Kotoko players following the club’s exit from this year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
The Kumasi giants failed to progress to the next stage of this year’s competition after losing via 6-7 on penalties to CARA Club after 1-1 aggregate.
With Kotoko’s latest defeat, it will be the third successive time the fo]rmer Africa champions have been knocked out in the preliminary stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.
“The players are not playing for the team but individually because they(players) do not have the team (Kotoko) at heart,” he told Metro FM.
“There is no maturity in the level of play in the players and I think Dr Kyei should sack all the players and bring committed players into the team.”
He added: “The current players at Kotoko are not committed and they are only concentrated on the money and promises been promised them.
“There is no seriousness in the players and is about time the management and supporters tell the players their mind.”
