Some top European clubs are ramping up efforts to complete signings with only a few days left before the summer 2026 transfer window closes, as the season has officially begun.

Manchester City are said to have intensified their pursuit of Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández, with several of their key midfielders having departed.

Manchester United are also in talks to secure the services of Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde, while Aston Villa, Liverpool, and others continue to look for reinforcements.
