Tunisian side Esperance asked Asante Kotoko to deposit an amount of $30,000 to their account concerning the transfer of Emmanuel Clottey in 2019 before the legal battle began.
There has been a long legal battle between the two clubs since then and the letter below proves that Kotoko could have avoided their latest sanction by simply paying just $30,000 as top up to the $150,000 transfer fee of Kwame Bonsu.
The Porcupine Warriors have now been tasked to pay a total of $240,000 for the delay, leaving the management in a terrible predicament.
In the letter, Esperance sent their account number and were expecting just the difference of $30,000 to be paid.
