Chelsea handed fine for supporters' misconduct

Misconduct by Supporters of Berekum Chelsea in their Glo Premier League match against Hearts of Oak in Berekum on 24th October, 2012.

FINDINGS


The Committee duly finds Berekum Chelsea FC guilty as charged for misconduct of supporters contrary to Article 35(3) and 35(4) of the Regulations of the Ghana Football Association. The supporters led by their chairman and an ardent supporter called AZIGIZA forcefully prevented players of Hearts of Oak from praying at the centre circle and also sprinkled some liquid there prior to the start of the match at the Golden City Park.

DECISION:


Berekum Chelsea FC is therefore fined GH¢ 5,000.00 for the misconduct of the Club's supporters.
