Defending league champions Berekum Chelsea will attempt to stop the ‘Porcupine Warriors’, Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s invincibility in the second round tomorrow as we enter the 20th week of the Glo Premier league.

The red army grabbed the three points from the champion’s league campaigners when the two sides met at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi last season but the management of Chelsea claims the fabulous boys won the match unfairly and are going to teach them a real soccer lesson come tomorrow.

Kotoko top the league chart with a maximum 41 points whiles Chelsea on the other hand is third on the spot with 30 points. The game is going to be sought out for in the middle where both clubs have quality materials. Chelsea’s defensive midfielder, Yaw Alexander will have to fight above his box to neutralize Kotoko’s midfield ‘Russian Tanker’, Michael Anaba from distributing his defence splitting passes.

Former player of Kotoko, Jordan Opoku has a lot of work to do to prove his former employers that he’s not yet out of salt and should he have a good day then Kotoko will surely have it tough at the Berekum Golden City Park which has become a sudden fortress for Kotoko but should Chelsea retreat a step then trust Maxwell Konadu and his boys to maintain their invincibility.

At the Essipong Stadium in Sekondi, Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak will play as guest to Medeama Sporting Club with coach Tanko sitting at the front seat for the sacked Nebojsa Vucicevic.

Medeama is a very strong side and for Hearts to stop them it goes beyond just sacking a coach. Hearts is second on the table with 32 points whiles Medeama is eleventh with 24 points and a loose against the phobian’s could push them further down the table.

On the hand, Hearts of Oak will have no excuse to give their supporters should they fall at Sekondi but Medeama will surely give Hearts a tough match and with the return of Luis Agyeman to partner Hans Koffie in attack, the Hearts defence should be on guard.

New Edubiase united will welcome former champion’s league campaigners Aduana Stars to the Nana Gyamfi Park in Bekwai. New Edubiase is sixth on the table with 29 points the same as Aduana Stars but the former champions are fourth due to a superior goal advantage.

This game is going to be interesting to watch as both clubs are technically good. Aduana’s problem has been the last man upfront to put the balls in their opponents’ net and this has forced their right fullback, Godfred Saka to single handedly stealing victories for them.

The secrete of Edubiase is a pedestrian knowledge as even the grand lady of Bekwai can predict a goal for ‘Bekwai Messi’, Emmanuel Baffoe once a match is being played at the Nana Gyamfi Park.

At the Wa Park, technically disciplined All Stars will play as host to Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs. All Stars is fifth on the log with 29 points whiles Dwarfs is eighth with 28 points.

All Stars are a very strong side at home and for Dwarfs to pick a point at Wa they need to play above themselves before they can dream of picking a point in far away Wa. All Stars stopped Dwarfs’ home invincibility at the Robert Mensah Park in the first round and will be hoping to make it double but Dwarfs can surprise them at their own back yard.

Soccer miners, Ashantigold will welcome bottomed placed Berekum Arsenal to the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium. Ashantigold is seventh on the ladder with 29 points whiles Arsenal’s have only managed 15 points from nineteen matches played.

On paper, the soccer miners don’t have anything to worry about but matches between these two sides goes beyond the white paper.

At the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman, Liberty Professionals will face the wanted Wassaman united. Liberty is ninth on the table with 26 points whiles Wassaman is being starred at the face with relegation as they have amass only 16 points.

Liberty is technically and tactically gifted and for Wassaman to pick an away point they have to stop Liberty from possessing the ball for a longer period.

At the Tema Community 3 Park, Tema Youth will play as host to Mighty Jets. Tema Youth is twelfth on the table with 21 points whiles Mighty Jets on the other hand is thirteenth on the log with 20 points.

Bechem united will also welcome Heart of Lions to the Bechem Park. Bechem united is caught in the relegation zone with 15 points whiles Lions is tenth with 26 points.
