Chibsah on target for GAIS in 2-2 draw

Ghana midfielder Yusif Alhassan Chibsah scored his first goal of the season for GAIS in their 2-2 stalemate at home to Aengelholms FF in the Swedish second-tier on Thursday.

The 31-year-old scored the equalizer nine minutes from time to ensure the home side shared the spoils at the Nya Gamla Ullevi stadium in Goteborg.

Bjorn Anderson cancelled Richard Ntomba Ekunde’s 1st minute own goal on the stroke of half-time.

Swedish international Marcus Bergholtz put the visitors in front in the 69th minute before the Ghana international pulled parity nine minutes from time.

GAIS are locked up 10th on the table in the Swedish Superettan and host Jonkopings Sodra on September 30.
