Ghana international Christopher Antwi-Adjei made an impressive debut for Schalke 04 in the German Bundesliga 2 on Sunday.
The former Black Stars winger made a substitute appearance for Schalke 04 as they played out a 2-2 stalemate against Magdeburg at the Avnet Arena.
Antwi-Adjei was introduced in the 72nd minute and showed glimpses of good performance as his team secured a point away.
Schalke 04 took the lead through Moussa Sylla after just eight minutes before the home team equalized in the 40th minute through Marcus Mathisen.
The hosts went into the halftime break with the advantage following Martijn Kaars' strike in the additional minute of the first half.
In the 76th minute, the Ghanaian international set up Kenan Karaman to score the equalizer in the thrilling encounter.
The 30-year-old Ghanaian winger joined Schalke 04 last week after signing a two-year deal with the club.
Antwi-Adjei has spent almost his entire career in Germany, featuring for a host of clubs. He brings a wealth of experience to Schalke 04 considering the number of clubs he’s played for in Germany.
Last season, the pacey Ghanaian winger made 25 appearances for Bochum, who narrowly escaped relegation. He scored two goals and provided two assists for Bochum last term.
He was instrumental for Bochum during his spell, helping the club maintain their status in the Bundesliga on three occasions.
Antwi-Adjei has made 113 appearances in the German top-flight while making 62 appearances in the Bundesliga 2.
