Claudio Ranieri insists Jeff Schlupp is not quitting the club

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri insists sought-after Ghana defender Jeffrey Schlupp remains 'happy' at the club despite being linked with a move way from the King Power stadium.

Schlupp has emerged as huge summer target for West Brom with a reported £12million being rejected.

The Baggies are refusing to give up on their chase for the Ghana international amid reports the versatile player is unhappy and unsettled.

But Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri insists the 23-year-old is happy at the club.

“He stays with us,” Ranieri revealed, “he is very happy. That is always good news.”
