Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko Coach Bashiru Hayford has joined Cape Coast side Ebusua Dwarfs on a year deal.
The experienced gaffer will lead Ebusua Dwarfs for next season’s Ghana Premier League campaign and has promised to make the club one of the best in Ghana.
The two time Ghana Premier League winner has been without a club since leaving Ashantigold last season. Hayford, helped the miners win their first premier league in nineteen years but left after growing frustrated with the poor performance of the club a season after.
The former Black Princesses Coach confirmed his move to Dwarfs on local Radio station Fox FM in Kumasi and has promised to make the Crabs a formidable side.
“I have signed a one-year deal with Ebusua Dwarfs and I will start work with my new club next month,” Coach Hayford said.
“Am elated to return to the dugout again and hopeful to make Dwarfs one of the best clubs in the country.”
Coach Bashiru Hayford led Kumasi Asante Kotoko to the 2008 Ghana Premier League triumph before helping Ashantigold to the 2015 title.
Ebusua Dwarfs finished an impressive 4th place last season but parted ways with Brazilian Coach Ricardo Da Rocha earlier this month, hence the appointment of Hayford.
The ex- Power FC and Medeama SC Coach will begin work with Dwarfs next month in the GHACA G8 tournament.
