Accra, Jan 19, GNA - Ratomir Dujkovic, head coach of Ghana's senior national team, the Black Stars would next month tour Europe as part of his plans to monitor the performance of Ghanaian players on plying their trade in that continent.
The tour is aimed at getting the right information about the players expected to form the nucleus of the team ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifier billed against the Democratic Republic of Congo scheduled for February 7-9.
This would be the Serbian's first since he secured the national Team "A" job last December, ahead of the highly favoured Philip Troussier and Ghanaian-born Bashiru Hayford of Kpando Heart of Lions. Coach Dujkovic, according to information gathered by the GNA Sports is expected to have personal interaction with the players before the March 28 duel billed for Kinshasha.

"I spoke with both skipper Stephen Appiah and his deputy, Sammy Osei Kuffour during the Christmas holidays and hope my trip next month would afford me the same opportunity to get to know my players better before our game".
Dujkovic who entered the second phase of camping among the local players on Tuesday, underscored the need to assemble the best materials capable of winning at least 14 out of the 15 points left in the five group matches in the country's desire to answer the roll call in the Germany 2006 World Cup.
"I intend building a winsome local team who would become the envy of all with the blend of the experienced professionals who have played at the highest level in Europe", he told the GNA Sports. The former Rwandan national team coach on Tuesday morning began the second phase of his training programme exclusive of players from the 12 other Premier League clubs.
