*... wants to patch up old wounds regarding all players with new chapter... *

New Black Stars coach Goran "PLAVI" Stevanovic has sent a positive notice to all Ghanaian players eligible to play for the senior national team that a new chapter has opened for each and every one to justify their inclusion in the team.

The Serbian who came with a positive mind of winning trophies said he is going to set his criteria on quality and discipline. “Ghana has a lot of good players. But at this moment as the coach of the team, myself and the rest of my technical team would require discipline from every player,” the 44-year-old is quoted as saying on the Ghana FA website.

“We must be disciplined to achieve something. I am very committed to this job and the same must be given by everyone around the team. And quality is also important. Every good player has an equal chance of playing in my team,” he added.

The former Partizan tactician who officially assumed office on 1 February to begin his two-year renewable contract was the toast of Ghanaian football fans when he led the Black Stars to beat the Hawks of Togo 4-1 in Antwerp, Belgium in a friendly international last Tuesday.

Ghana's goals came from Dominic Adiyiah, Sammy Inkoom, a Togo own goal and Jonathan Mensah.
