Hearts of Oak attacker Kwame Kizito whose goal earned the Phobians all three points in their Ghana Premier League week 20 game against Berekum Chelsea, has revealed that his coach Sergio Traguil predicted he was going to score in the game.
The 21-year-old who was placed on the transfer list by the club in September last year found favour in the eyes of new coach Sergio Traguil, who brought him on in the 71st minute against Berekum Chelsea and four minutes later, he grabs the only goal of the game.
Speaking to the media after proceedings, Kizito said his coach encouraged him that he was going to score in the game before pushing him on.
“When we came into the match, he told me I will score before sending me on, and I actually did score. So I am very happy about it.” He said.
The former Glow Lamp Soccer Academy product was signed by the Phobians in September 2014 but has failed to command a starting role in the team.
His winning goal has however preserved Hearts of Oak’s top spot ahead of their week 21 league game against Asante Kotoko in Kumasi.
