Coach Tetteh triggers Ghana's fight for Africa

Cairo, Oct. 12, GNA - Black Satellites coach, Sellas Tetteh says his charges will fight to the hilt to achieve results capable of making the African continent proud when they walk into the crucial semi-final duel against Hungary in the U-20 World Cup at the Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday.

Coach Tetteh told GNA Sports "Ghana is the last African team still involved in the competition and we'll fight to make the whole continent proud against Hungary and will also give everything to return home with the global crown."

Ghana has the chance to make history this week, by becoming the first African team ever to win the Under-20 World Cup if they beat Hungary and set up a date with either Costa Rica or Brazilin the finals.

Coach Tetteh said he has a lot of respect for the disciplined Hungarian side that have amassed 11 goals and conceded seven, insisting "the games are getting tougher and Hungary will be stronger, harder and fiercer; but we are ready for any opponent and we are going to do our best to overrun them." Ghana who are tagged by the soccer pundits as an adventurous side must topple their disciplined opponents from Hungary at the Cairo International Stadium to gain any realistic chance of emerging as the first African country to win the competition.
