Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to appoint former Obuasi Ashantigold head Coach Zdravko Logarusic, as the head coach of the club in coming days according to reports in the local media.
The Croatian trainer has been contacted by the porcupine warriors to occupy the vacant coaching role of the club after the axing of David Duncan.
Michael osei has been the interim manager of the team since David Duncan left the club in the early stages of the 2015/2016 Ghana premier league season.
Logarusic terminated his contract with AFC Leopards in Kenya after series of demand for unpaid salaries.
He had already coached Simba Fc in the Kenyan Premier league before taking the Leopards job.
He became a free agent on the first day of November 2016 after leading Angolan side Interclube to Seventh on the league log; a 30 match streak that saw them record 11 wins 8 draws and 11 loses.
