Coffee love: Michael Essien’s love rises

Ghana midfielder Michael Essien has taken to Twitter to confess that coffee has become his favourite beverage since he moved to AC Milan in Italy.

“I have never been a coffee drinker the whole of my life until I came to Italy and now and now I love Espresso,” the former Chelsea star posted on his official Twitter account.

The Ghanaian international earned rave reviews for his exemplary performance in their 3-1 win over Hellas Verona.

The 31-year-old, who got his first start of the season, gave a good account of himself.
