Columbia champions Alianza Petrolera leading the race to sign Rahim Ayew

FC Europa defender Rahim Ayew is a man in demand after reviving his career in Gibraltar and is a strong target for Columbian giants Alianza Petrolera.

Rahim saw his dreams of playing in the UEFA Champions League crash after losing to Walsh side New Saints.

His performance however which saw him named in the team of the season is causing a stir as clubs circle to take a chance on the former Zamalek man.

Often doubted as a footballer Rahim has recovered from a disastrous two year spell in Ghana to rediscover himself and put his skill to good use.

It remains to be seen if he will take the chance to travel to Columbia or remain in Europe where he has excelled remarkably.
