Commey to face Avakyan in Denmark on Saturday

Commonwealth Lightweight Boxer, Richard Commey, is set to face Mikheil Avakyan in a tune-up fight at the Arena Nord in Frederikshavn, Denmark on Saturday, Starr FM Sports can confirm.

The unbeaten Ghanaian requested for the tune-up fight against the 23-year-old to prepare for the March 21st clash against South African Sipho Taliwe in Gauteng.

The 27-year-old, who has an enviable fight record of 19 wins, will be seeking to avoid his first defeat of his professional career against the Georgian boxer.

Avakyan has triumphed in 27 bouts, drawn four and lost 18 fights in his 49 professional bouts.
