Medeama SC have been handed South African side Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off stage.
Medeama SC, the only Ghanaian team left in the competition, on Wednesday beat Al Shendi of Sudan to progress to the next stage.
A spectacular strike from dribbling wizard Kwame Boahene put the home side in the driving seat before striker Abass Mohammed completed the win with a fabolous free-kick in the first half.
According to Medeama SC president, Moses Parker, in an earlier interview on Accra-based Happy FM said, "I am very certain that regardless of who the opponent is we will continue to succeed in the Confederation Cup."
