Confed Cup: Ghanaian duo in action as TP Mazembe reach Group stage

Two Ghanaian players Yaw Frimpong and Daniel Nii Adjei were in action for TP Mazembe as they sealed a CAF Confederation Cup Group stage spot against Tunisian side Stade Gabesien.

The DR Congo giants lost 2-1 in the return leg but progressed on the away-goals rule after tying 2-2 on aggregate.

Right back Yaw played the entire duration and midfielder Adjei came on in the 53rd minute to replace injured Kalaba.

TP Mazembe finished the match with ten men after Bolingi was red-carded in the 76th minute
