The technical Director of the Ghana football Association, Francis Oti Akenteng, has revealed that he is pleased with the outcome of the just ended 22nd GFA Ordinary Congress held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
Coach Oti Akenteng, who was at the two-day Congress as a ‘Special Guest’ was full of praise at the Congressmen and how the event resulted.
“I think it went well. If you look at the processes, if you compare what we’ve doing and what we have done just now, you will discover that even the methodology has changed. And even getting people to sit down to come out with their ideas to formulate the four-year development program, I think it’s commendable.”
“We cannot fight the court; I think the president explained why some members were not able to be sworn-in so that is part of it. It is a court order and you have to respect it. That shouldn’t prevent us from saying what we have done it a success”, he said when asked to touch on how the pending legal issues circulating around the FA and some clubs impacted on the Congress.
