Coronavirus: Kotoko’s Kwame Baah and Ben Mensah train at the beach

They may be playing for sworn rivals, but off the field there exist a mutually respectful and cordial relationship between them.

Hearts of Oak’s Ben Mensah and Kotoko Kwame Baah share a little enthralling story which is unknown to many.

The two goalies may have ended up at opposing sides but they have always had a good rapport which dates back to their days as young goalies.

After being away with their respective clubs, the duo is back together, reconnecting with their trainer who is ensuring that they remain fit and sharp in the coronavirus period.

GhanaWeb lenses caught the two players working out at the beach last Friday with Black Queens goalie, Patricia Mantey and other young goalkeepers.

The two players showed great understanding and comradeship which is quite unusual for players who play for rival clubs.

Baah was Kotoko’s second choice goalie until the start of the suspended season where he took over the number one spot from Felix Annan.

Mensah on the other hand is experienced figure in the Hearts dressing room and rumours have it that the Phobians intend to reward his loyalty with a position at the club when he retires.
