Black Queens players Patricia Mantey and Milot Pokuaa have appealed to Ghanaians to adhere strictly to the safety protocols advised by the government in the fight against the virus.

GhanaWeb caught up with the two stars at their training grounds on Friday morning and they both have a message of caution to Ghanaians. Patricia Mantey urged the populace to take cues from Europe where the virus has claimed the lives of thousands and act accordingly.

“The virus is real and if you doubt it just look at Europe, the number of people who have died so we have to be careful as we’ve been told. Wear nose masks, use sanitizer and wash our hands under running water.

Milot Pokuaa warned that the virus is deadly and so personal safety must be everyone’s priority.

“The sickness is very serious and deadly so we should keep ourselves and stay at home. We should follow the steps that they have been telling us and wash our hands with soap under running water and also keep the social distancing. We pray that the sickness will go away and we will have our freedom.”

Ghana’s total case count is 4,263 with 378 recoveries and 22 deaths.
