The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has warned clubs that are still engaged in training to desist with immediate effect and fully respect the ban on social gathering and observation of social distance as directed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo–Addo to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Ghana has recorded 11 cases of COVID-19 so far.

The GFA has, also, closed its offices until further notice because of Coronavirus concerns.

The GFA says its members including clubs, Regional Football Associations among others are to use the online systems of the Associatioin (email, Registration System - FIFA Connect) to communicate with the Secretariat until the offices reopen.

The GFA noted that it will continue to engage with the Ministry of Health and Ghana Health Service on the next steps and inform its staff and stakeholders accordingly of any changes.
