Sacked Accra Hearts of Oak forward Cosmos Dauda insists he will return to the club in the near future to "right all the wrongs" of his three year stint with the former Champions.
The one time top scorer of the club has seen a tremendous decline in form in the last two seasons, forcing the Rainbow club to show him the exit.
Dauda was relegated to the bench last season forward due to the form of former striker Kwame Kizito and could not fight for a position after the arrival of Joseph Esso.
Despite the disappointment of ending his relationship with the champions, Dauda reiterated he will return to make up for the loss time.
“It is saddening but I am empowered by God to take it all in my strides. All the great players you know in the world at a point in their respective careers went through this. I have the ability to bounce back in grand style and carve a niche for myself,” he told 442gh.com
“I am grateful to Hearts for the opportunity to wear the adored colours and bring my skill to bear. Not all footballers get such opportunities. I shall return one day to right the wrongs of today.”
The former Tudu Mighty Jets striker is reported to be on the radar of Ashantigold and Medeama SC.
