Crentsil, Fianoo defeats shocking – Nyantakyi

Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi is surprised at former GFA vice Fred Crentsil and Ashanti Gold’s CEO Kudjoe Fianoo’s failure to retain their seats on the FA’s Executive Committee during the recent election.

The two experienced football administrators had been vibrant in the second term of Nyantakyi’s administration and had wished to go for a third term, but the delegates on the occasion thought otherwise.

However, Nyantakyi believes the experience of the duo will be missed in his third term as the President of the FA.

“It’s unfortunate Fianoo and Crentsil couldn’t win because these are very experienced people. They have been around for a long time, very intelligent and valuable members of the executive committee.

“They are gone, but they are still around so we can tap into their experiences in other areas of the games,” Nyantakyi exclusively told Starr Sports
