Accra, Dec. 7, GNA - Miloslav Machelek, Czech Republic Ambassador to= Ghana has pledged partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to enhance sports development in the country. The Ambassador assured of support in the areas of equipment, provisi= on of technical assistance and training to help promote sports throughout Ghana. Machelek, who said this when he paid a courtesy call on the Minister= of Youth and Sports, Akua Sena Dansua, added that the Czech Government is committed to partnering their Ghanaian counterparts in the various sector= s of Sports Development. Ms. Dansua on her part commended the Czech Ambassador on his motive which will also aid the development of lesser-known sporting discipline. She said her Ministry welcomes the partnership which will go a long way towards raising the image of sports in the country.
