DCE Presents Landmower to Cape Coast Sports Council

THE CAPE COAST Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr. Muniru Arafat Nuhu, has presented a mower valued at ?5.8 million to the Cape Coast Sports Council at a ceremony at the stadium.

Mr. Ohene Karikari, the Principal Athletic Coach, who received the machine on behalf of the Regional Sports Development Officer, thanked Mr. Arafat Nuhu for his kind gesture.

He said the mower would afford management the opportunity to clean the stadium before football matches.

The presentation preceeded a friendly football match between Cape Coast Bless football club and Fauzan football club from Kasoa after he had inspected the two teams Present were the Regional Chairman and his vice Messrs M.N.A. Doe and Aye Danquah as well as the acting stadium manager, Mr. Haruna Issah.

Commenting on the presentation, the acting stadium manager stated that the MCE's presentation had come at the right time because the mower used at the stadium had broken down about a month ago and was making the clearing of the stadum very difficult.

He expressed the hope that other individuals and organisations would come to the aid of the sports council.
