Chinese outfit Dalian Aerbin have reportedly tabled an US$ 800, 000 a year deal for ex-Ghana captain Stephen Appiah.
Appiah, 31, is currently unattached after he completed a successful four months loan spell at FK Vojvodina last season.
The former Fenerbache and Juventus enforcer revealed in June that the Serbian top flight side was keen to make his stay permanent.
But the ambitious Asian side have entered the race with a staggering US$ 800, 000 a year deal to entice him to their ranks that will make him the highest paid player at the club.
Appiah has ruled not out a move to China which is fast becoming a haven for most African players after seeing Ivorian star Didier Drogba joining giants Shanghai Shenhua.
Ghana defender Lee Addy plays for the Chinese side.
