Daniel Afriyie Barnieh plays key role in FC Zurich's victory over Winterthur

In a thrilling Swiss Super League match, Ghanaian forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh significantly contributed to FC Zurich's 3-1 triumph over Winterthur.

His performance included a crucial assist.

The game began with Winterthur taking an early lead in the 16th minute, courtesy of Remo Arnold's precise strike following a corner.

However, FC Zurich quickly responded, with Armstrong Oko-Flex levelling the score just five minutes later.

The momentum continued in Zurich's favour as Nikola Katic found the net in the 25th minute, extending his team's lead with another headed pass from Marc Hornschuh.

Barnieh entered the game in the 64th minute, replacing Oko-Flex.

Despite Winterthur enjoying more possession and shots throughout the game, FC Zurich's clinical finishing secured them the victory.

Barnieh's assist adds to his impressive season record, having featured in 33 games, scored two goals, and provided four assists in the Swiss Super League campaign.
