Daniel Allotey throws gauntlet to Sena Agbeko

Former national super middleweight champion Daniel Allotey is demanding to face highly rated Sena Agbeko in order to erase any doubts on who is the best super middleweight in Ghana.

Allotey, 14-2, 7 KOs, who relinquished the now vacant national title for higher laurels, albeit unsuccessful after losing to Briton George Grove in the UK, wants to silence the undefeated Sena Agbeko who holds the West African Boxing Union (WABU) Super Middleweight belt.

“I want to prove that I’m the best in the Super Middleweight division in Ghana and Sena is the best opponent for such test. Many people are talking about him, how good he is and the good future ahead of him.

"That’s why I am asking to fight him so I can silence him,” said Allotey who is keen for both the WABU and Ghana titles to be put up for unification.

20 year old Sena, 10-0, 10 KOs, has welcomed the challenge of Allotey, indicating his readiness to fight against the best in the business.

He told ALL SPORTS:

“It all depends on my manager, whoever he puts in front of me, I will beat him. I’ve already said that I want to fight the best there is because fighting the best is what will make me stronger and better.

“Honestly, I don’t know much about Daniel Allotey but if he says he can beat me, then let’s fight. I’m ready, even tomorrow.”
