Rising star Daniel Haizel must be a lucky player indeed as football scouts from Europe and North Africa have intensified their monitoring on him.

Reports reaching yours truly from Number 7 Football Management Company indicate that Haizel is one of the young players they have been watching over the past months.

Former international star Douglas Tagoe who represents Number 7 in Ghana said the young budding talent has been seen by some scouts and they are putting notes together before inviting him for trials in Georgia.

According to Doggie as he is known in local football circles, the young player has talent and could land a lucrative deal if he continue or improve upon his game.

He noted that a club in Sudan has sent a scout to watch him and that should motivate him to give off his best.

Douglas Tagoe, a top left footed striker of Accra Hearts of Oak in the late 1970s and 1980s who also featured for clubs in Nigeria, Cote d’Voire and Germany said Haizel is a very technical player who many coaches would love to fit into their teams.

“I tell you Daniel has pace, determination, skill and power. He can fit into any team” said the former national star who has been enstooled chief in one of the suburbs of Accra.

Now training with Bionic FC at Mamprobi, Haizel is aware of his potential and opportunities in football, so he has never joked with his training.

He hinted that the national youth team is his target and wants to done the national team jersey one day.

Haizel congratulated the national Under 20 team led by Clifford Aboagye for beating Argentina at the current World Youth Championship taking place in New Zealand and wished that Ghana takes the cup for the second time.

“Our boys are good, they improve after every game and I know with coach Bobo in charge they can ride hide, my only problem is that when some of the players get tired the coach must see it and sub them on time” he added.
