A solitary strike from former U17 striker Richard Danso was enough to give Ibrahim Tanko and his boys victory.
A well-organised Awudu Isaka side held the Ghana U23 side to a goalless first half in a game that was balanced.
The first chance of the game fell to Medeama striker Awudu Tahiru but his thunderous strike went straight into the upright leaving the academy boys gasping.
Elvis Kyei Baffour intelligently connected to a beautiful pass from Montari Kamaheni but his shot was blocked by the Awudu Isaka Soccer Academy goalkeeper.
The game remained barren until the break but the Ghana U23 side made several changes to their side, given them renewed energy for the second half.
Richard Danso stole the show with a 25-yard thunderous strike in the 65th minute to register the only goal of the game to separate the two sides.
The Ghana U23 side are preparing for the U23 AFCON Qualifier with Gabon slatted for the 23rd of this month after beating Togo 5-2 on aggregate.
