Asante Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed scored this season’s 100th goal of the season in the Ghana Premier League.
The budding striker gave the Porcupine Warriors a 2-1 lead after Maxwell Mensah’s own goal had cancelled out Latif Blessing’s third minute opener.
Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong converted a spot kick in the second half after Mohammed was brought down inside the box.
The 3-1 win for the Porcupine Warriors catapulted them from the foot of the table to ninth on table.
