Ghanafest, the biggest festival of Ghanaians in the Diaspora, which is organised annually, brings together the Ghanaian community in Chicago and elsewhere in the United States to celebrate indigenous Ghanaian culture and heritage.
The event which was held on Saturday 30th July 2016 saw a colourful durbar of Ghanaian chiefs, ethnic communities, display of traditional food and drinks and boasts of DJs from around the world playing traditional Ghanaian and dance-hall songs with Gyedu Blay Ambolley also storming the grounds with his music.
