The board of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has written to David Duncan informing him of its decision to withdraw the “step aside” letter handed him by the management of the club dated 4th April 2016 following a premier league reverse at Aduana Stars.

Meanwhile, Opoku Nti has been served a letter by the board reminding the former club hero that his tenure as the general manager of the most successful club in Ghana comes to an end by 30th June 2016.

Assistant coach Michael Osei has since led the club as the caretaker coach as the Porcupines are placed third going into the second round of the premier league.

In the letter signed by Chairman Paul Adu Gyamfi, the board goes on to apologise to the former Kotoko coach dismissing the management’s letter as “misconceived”.

The letter was handed to the coach and his lawyer Emmanuel Larbi Amoah on Wednesday at the same time that the two parties reached an agreement for the club and the former Hearts of Oak trainer to finally part ways.
