Acting General Manager of Asante Kotoko, Opoku Nti, has revealed that newly appointed Head Coach of the Porcupine Warriors, David Duncan, has vowed never to handle any other Ghanaian club after leaving the Kumapem club.

Since 2000, the 51-year-old trainer has handled four local league clubs including Great Olympics, Sekondi Hasaacas, AshantiGold SC and Hearts of Oak, but the ex-Black Starlets and Meteors Coach, who claims it would have been criminal for him not to have coached Kotoko, is planning to make the Kumasi-based club his final destination.

“I had been holding talks with him (Duncan) behind the scenes for some time now. He has wanted to be with Kotoko for a long time now. He has even told me that he won’t coach any other (Ghanaian) club after he leaves Kotoko,” Opoku Nti told Happy FM.

Coach Duncan, who has penned a pre-contract with Kotoko, will sign a 2-year-deal with the club when they return from Algeria, where they will play MC El Eulma in a CAF Champions League clash at the 25,000 seater Stade Messaoud Zougar on Saturday.
