Decision On Appiah Today

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp will today decide whether or not to offer Stephen Appiah a contract.

The chances are that he will after the Ghana international midfielder impressed in yesterday's 4-4 draw with Reading reserves but only if the African lowers hs personal demands as there are still concerns over the state of a dodgy knee.

The Spurs boss does not want another highly-paid player on his books, like crocked captain Ledley King, who can only play in every other match.
