Ghanaian international Andre Ayew has been named among the most fouled players in the English Premier League this season.
The 26-according to the end of year stats released by the English FA was the fourth most fouled player in the Premiership this term.
The Black Stars deputy skipper according to the states was fouled 61 times by his opponents.
Crystal Palace winger Winfred Zaha was the most fouled player fetid 80 times, followed by Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez who was fouled 67 times.
Senegalese and Southampton talisman Sadio Mane was the third most fouled player in the League after winning 62 infringements for his side with Tottenham’s Delli Ali being fouled 61 times, same as the Ghanaian international.
Ayew with a game in hand is a joint Top scorer at Swansea City with 11 goals.
The former Olympique Marseille attacking midfielder was recently voted the best Newcomer at the Club’s end of year Awards.
