Ghana winger Andre Ayew has arrived to France to undergo treatment over an ankle injury while playing for Swansea City.
The 26-year-old arrived in the French capital of Paris over the weekend to undergo treatment over his turned ankle.
Ayew suffered the turned ankle in last weekend’s win over Norwich in their English Premier League side clash.
He will now undergo treatment with a specialist in Paris to ensure a quick and effective recovery.
Swansea City caretaker boss Alan Curtis, who is standing in for the ill Francesco Guidolin said: “Andre turned his ankle last Saturday and he’s out in France to be assessed."
The treatment in Paris will determine how fast Ayew would return to the field with both Ghana and Swansea City keen on his services for upcoming matches.
The Ghana international has scored eight goals for Swansea City this season and missed the 3-2 defeat at Bournemouth over the weekend.
