Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan has thrown his weight behind deputy skipper Andre Ayew for a stellar leadership role in the Future.
The Swansea City man has skippered the Black Stars in the absence of Gyan with many regarding him as an idle replacement for the ever ageing Gyan.
Ayew is the only African player to have captained an African side to win the FIFA U-20 world cup after leading the Black Satellites to victory against Brazil six years ago in Egypt.
The Swansea City man who walks the talk has had a blistering start to life in Wales with Swansea City and many have tipped him to be the leader of the Black Stars team in the coming years.
Asamoah Gyan who is the current skipper of the side is the latest to affirm the growing believe that Ayew will make a good leader in the future.
He is a great guy. He tries to say what he thinks and they are stuff that are very reasonable. We work together. I think he will be a great leader, Gyan told Accra based Starr FM
Gyan is currently in the country on holidays after playing in only eight games and scoring four goals for ambitious Chinese side Shanghai SIPG.
