Ghanaian football giant, Asante Kotoko, will resume training this week in preparation for their encounter against Hearts of Oak in the upcoming Democracy Cup match.
In a notice issued on Monday, June 24, the Kumasi-based club announced that the team will return to training on Friday, June 28.
The training sessions will take place at Adako Jachie, with Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum expected to ready his team for a victory over the Phobians.
The inaugural Democracy Cup match between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak is scheduled for Friday, July 5.
The match will commence at 6 pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Having missed out on silverware in the 2023/24 football season, both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko are eager to win the upcoming contest to satisfy their supporters.
