The Ada Juvenile League got

underway last weekend with Big Ada based Denart Soccer Academy sending out a

signal of intent this early.

Founded, owned and coached by

Dennis Narterh Adzigodi who is also the Chairman of the Ada Juvenile FA, Denart

stormed the Dove Park home grounds of Real Ada at Ada Foah and beat them in all

three age categories of the Colts league.

Simon Agbedu netted for the

U-13 side, Paul Ahortu was the lone goal hero for the U15s and Wuddah Maradona’s

beautiful freekick which is a

contender for goal of the season on the very first match day, won it for the

U-17s as Denart beat the home side 1-0 in all divisions.

But Denart are not getting

swollen headed and have already began shrewd preparations for the next game at

home to Don Roo FC of Akplabanya who also had a bright start, recording two

wins and a draw at home against Galaxy FC last Sunday.

“Each match against Real was tough,

we beat them through tactical discipline playing away too. But we are at home

come this Saturday. It’s a big game, all eyes will be on us at the Big Ada

Presby Park,” Coach Adzigodi told www.sportsinghana.com.

He added: Don Roo FC from

Akplabanya, our next opponents won 3-1, 1-1, and 4-0 in all. It will be tough

but the Denart boys are poised to win the District Colts League in all

the categories.”

13 teams from across Ada, Denart

Academy, Tama Babies, Galaxy FC, Don Roo FC, Adom Sporting Club, Okor Babies,

Shakar O4, Real Ada FC, Ocansco United, Forward Stars, Heroes FC , Sunstars FC

and Young Kotoko are battling for honours in the revived Juvenile League under

the tutelage of Dennis Narterh Adzigodi and his able lieutenants who recently

assumed office.

“My advice to all the

clubs as the chairman is to avoid many protests for a smooth league so that we

can get a good team to represent the district in the Milo Games. I also ask all

spectators to patronise the league,” Mr. Adzigodi told us.
