Spanish side Deportivo Alaves have wished their Ghanaian midfielder Munbarak Wakaso luck ahead of the FIFA world qualifier against Egypt.
The midfielder returned to the Black Stars for the first time since Coach Kwesi Appiah’s reappointment and he is poised to fight for a position in the team.
The swashbuckling midfielder who joined Alaves in the summer on a three year deal is expected to start tomorrow against the Pharaoh’s of Egypt.
The 27 year old scored in Ghana’s preparatory game against Glowlamp on Wednesday and will look to help the Black Stars defeat the already qualified Egyptians.
Deportivo Alves posted on their twitter page,”INTERNATIONAL | Good luck in his morning match to @WakasoBobby! ??????”
Meanwhile, Ghana missed out of the World Cup after three consecutive appearances.
Coach Kwesi Appiah wants to build a team that will win the Africa Cup of nations in 2019, hence the introduction of several new players.
