Derek Boateng claiming Spanish interest

Former Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng claims some clubs in Spain have contacted him regarding a move in the January transfer window.

The 32-year-old midfielder is currently in Ghana after ending a year deal with Spanish La Liga side Eibar last season.

The former Fulham midfielder who was linked with a surprise move to Saudi Arabia in the summer says some clubs in Spain are after his signature ahead of the January transfer window.

“There are some Spanish clubs interested,” Boateng is quoted by Fotbolldirekt

“But I want to wait and see. AIK is my first choice. I want to continue playing for a while and it’s a dream for me to come back there,”
