Aduana Stars striker, Derrick Sasraku, says he wasn’t worried after being dropped from the local Black Stars team prior to the start of the 2018 CHAN qualifiers.
The highly rated marksman played an integral role for the ‘Ogyaa’ Boys where he propelled them left their second Ghana Premier League title having scored nine goals and registering nine assists.
According to Sasraku, he derived motivation after being dropped from the Black Stars B squad which made him improve his play.
“I was called into the local Black Stars team but I was dropped but it doesn’t mean am not a good player because every coach has his tactics. . It rather motivated me about how to improve myself and work ward as a player and am very happy I was able to propel my team win the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League,” Sasraku told Happy FM.
The midfielder has being heavily linked with a move away from the Premier League as numerous clubs on the continent have expressed interest in acquiring the services of the player.
