Ghana youth midfielder Derrick Mensah is closing in on a move to Norwegian side FK Haugesund.
Mensah, 20, will sign a three-year deal with the side for a fee believed to be in the region of 1 million euros.
But FK Haugesund must first reach an agreement with Czech Republican side Banik Ostrava before the deal can be concretized.
The ex-Tema Youth man made 18 appearances for Ostrava in the 2014/15 season which was plagued by recurrent injuries.
Mensah was a member of Ghana’s U20 squad that won silver at the 2013 Africa Youth Championship in Algeria but missed out on the World Cup in Turkey the same year.
