Accra Great Olympics have announced the signing of veteran Ghanaian forward Bernard Don Bortey and Ghanaian midfielder Roger Sackey.
After three seasons without a club since leaving second-tier side Samartex FC, the former Accra Hearts of Oak talisman will join the Blue and White lads on a two-year deal ahead of the forthcoming Special Competition for Premier League and Division One sides.
The Accra-based side also confirmed the capture of Roger Sackey, son of ex-Ghana international, Emmanuel Sackey.
The 26-year-old last played for FC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in the third division of Russian professional football.
"We have signed Don Bortey and Roger because they are professional players who are just returning from overseas to bring their rich experiences to bear on a relatively young Olympics Squad, “ a statement issued in Accra by club Communications Manager, Emmanuel Osei noted.
“The signing of the duo is premised on the legacy football philosophy of Olympics -- blending the experienced with the youthful passionate boys to achieve wonders on the pitch."
