Asante Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed says fans of the club must not blame former trainer Didi Dramani for his inability to join the team for the mid-week clash against Bechem United, rather they should blame the management.

According to him, it is the poor travelling arrangement of the club that thwarted his attempts to join the team for the Bechem clash.

Management member, Edmund Ackah blamed Didi Dramani for trying to sabotage the wonderful performance of the club in the league, hence advising Dauda Mohammed not to show up for the game in Bechem.

But Dauda Mohammed says the club rather did not make proper arrangements for him to join the team.

“I want the supporters to know that Didi is not the one who told me not to go. In fact, he was even the one who made arrangements for a car to drop me at the airport,” Dauda told Asempa FM.

“It is the poor travelling arrangements of the club that did not allow me to join the team.

“I was stranded at the airport for some hours before I returned to Prampram,” Dauda added.

Kotoko won that match by a lone goal courtesy a strike from Frank Sarfo Gyamfi.

Dauda Mohammed left with the national U20 side for their clash with Ethiopai last night.
