Don’t interfere in our activities- GFF warns

The President of the Ghana Fencing Federation, Mohammed Mahadi, has warned intruders over the persistent interference in the activities of the federation.

According to Mahadi, his outfit has been battling with the mother of fencing prospect, Yasmine Serwah Fosu, anytime the young fencer is invited for tournaments.

Kimi Zabihyan is alleged to be interfering with decisions of the federation dictating to them the category her daughter should compete in.

“The difficult situation we are having is Kimi Zabihyan is more or less a lot of interference by imposing decision on us on what kind of competition she must partake in.

"If we should allow the girl gradual growth and focus on her level of the competition, she will become the best”, he told Starr Sports.

Serwah Fosu was a bronze medalist at the 2014 Commonwealth games in Scotland.
